Poker in Las Vegas
Las Vegas Live Poker
At the moment, poker in Las Vegas is so alive. It is home to 31 separate poker rooms. This figure fluctuates frequently, and poker rooms are closing at a higher rate than they are opening. Unlike with other poker rooms in different states, namely, online poker in Illinois or poker online in Wisconsin, Las Vegas has myriad poker rooms, games, comforts, promotions, and limits, and remains to be the best place in the world to play the game.
Along “the Strip” is where you’ll find the majority of casinos and poker rooms. Opportunities Downtown and off the Strip are worth monitoring, though.
The BravoPokerLive app provides real-time updates on cash games, while PokerAtlas is a great resource for finding tournaments to participate in.
Just so you know, not every poker room is included.

Legalization of Internet Poker
In April of 2013, Nevada was the first U.S. state to legalize online poker. Although several casinos had opened, Nevada now had just one online poker room (WSOP.com).
You need to be 21 or older to play, but we welcome everyone. Although Nevada residency is not required, players must be physically present in the state to participate.
Any player who meets the criteria can create an account from any location worldwide and play while in Nevada.
